For the birds..

Check in often! We try to schedule monthly educational programs--although that doesn't always happen. During the warmer months, we intend to have regular events and field trips. Please contact us if you are interested in presenting, leading a field trip, or have a question about an event.

Zimbabwe Trip Overview

Tim and Patty spent a hot September week in the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe, about 350 miles downstream of Victoria Falls. The trip had primary two goals: fish for tiger fish and birding. We stayed at the Halstad Camp within the 320,000-acre Nyakasanga concession where, with the exception of a day at Mano Pools National Park, we did our birding. Although our visit was near the end of the dry season and the birding was challenging, we recorded over 150 species.
