Check in often! We try to schedule monthly educational programs--although that doesn't always happen. During the warmer months, we intend to have regular events and field trips. Please contact us if you are interested in presenting, leading a field trip, or have a question about an event.
Monthly presentations take place at 7:15PM at the Idaho Falls Library
Lucian Davis was the lead songbird bander at Camas National Wildlife Refuge for the past two years, and will be sharing Intermountain Bird Observatory's songbird research on the refuge.
Gem Lake is one of the top hotspots for birds in Bonneville County and we'll tour this convenient location looking for new migratory arrivals. We’ll meet at 8:00 AM in the parking lot of the Gem Lake Recreation Area. Alex will be there with the chapter’s spotting scope. Click Here for the Google Maps location.
Meet at 9:00 AM at the East Springs Marsh parking lot north of headquarters with work gloves and trash bags. Later we’ll drive the main road and walk the shelter belt to see what spring migrants have arrived.
