For the birds..

Check in often! We try to schedule monthly educational programs--although that doesn't always happen. During the warmer months, we intend to have regular events and field trips. Please contact us if you are interested in presenting, leading a field trip, or have a question about an event.

Gem Lake Field Trip

April 5, 2025

We’ll meet at the Gem Lake East boat launch area at 8:00 AM to look for gulls and waterfowl and then walk south on the dirt road looking for songbirds. Later we may drive to the area by the Gem Lake Dam on the west side of the river. There is an active Bald Eagle nest below the dam across the river and waterfowl on the river.

World Migratory Bird Day—Market Lake WMA

Join us at the Market Lake Wildlife Management Area from 10am - 3pm for educational booths, fun activities, guided bird walks, and free lunch! 

Birdathon

May 19-26, 2025

Annual fund raising project in cooperation with Friends of Camas National Wildlife Refuge. Start making your plans and contacting potential donors.
